Roy de Kleijn

Roy de Kleijn completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies at Leiden University, and is now working as a PhD candidate in the cognitive psychology lab of Professor Bernhard Hommel as part of the European RoboHow consortium. His previous research focused on the gradual nature of consciousness and the neural dynamics of decision making. More recently, as part of RoboHow, he is investigating the representation of sequential action. The RoboHow consortium aims to develop an autonomous robot that can perform everyday manipulation tasks, such as cooking, by either experience or observation of humans. He is also a teacher for several courses, such as Philosophy of Science and Consciousness.
